Stress may affect both emotional and physical health,  on the emotional side , stress is linked with Anxiety, Depression, drug and alcohol abuse, inability to concentrate, irritability, low self esteem, overeating, poor memory, poor management of work, poor self control and smoking.

On the physical side stress has been associated with Acne and other skin conditions, Cancer, cold hands, flushed face,  Dyspepsia, elevated cholesterol, heart attacks, heart disease, hypertension, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, kidney disease, muscular aches and pains,  palpitations, rapid shallow breathing,  shortness of breath, stroke, ulcers and weight problem.

Stress Busters are a healthy diet, a long walk daily, meditation, prayer, regular workout, music, physical relaxation techniques, tracking harmful negative in life such as smoking or drug addiction, talking it with near and dear, trying to find the humour in a situation  and above all yoga.

Warning Signs of Stress

Fainting or dizziness, overwhelming anxiety, sever headache, insomnia, irritability, change in eating habits, such as loss of appetite, chronic diarrhea, chronic neck or back pain’, sweaty palms, trembling, skin rash, and withdrawal from friends.
