8 Crore People will get 5 kg rice / wheat free for next 2 months: Finance Minister
Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister has announced big bonanza for the poor. Those without ration cards will also get this benefit. For this, the government has made a provision of Rs 3500 crore. The work of providing this to the laborers will be done by the state government. 8 crore laborers will benefit out of this scheme.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a relief package of Rs 20 lakh crore. He said that every class is a part of this package, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will explain in detail how and who will get the benefit of this package.
In this episode, on Wednesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made a total of 15 announcements, out of which 6 steps have been taken for MSME sector. Now on Thursday, many big announcements have been made for farmers and laborers. The Finance Minister said that there is such a government at the Center, which cares for the poor and continuous steps are being taken.
Free grain for two months
The government has decided to manage free food to all, for the next two months, 5 kg of rice / wheat and 1 kg of gram per person will be given free. Those without ration cards will also get this benefit. For this, the government has made a provision of Rs 3500 crore. The work of sending it to the workers will be done by the state government. 8 crore laborers will benefit from this.
