ICICI Bank Starts Voice Banking Service

ICICI Bank has launched its Voice Banking service on ‘Amazon Alexa’ and ‘Google Assistant’.

New Delhi: ICICI Bank has launched its Voice Banking service on ‘Amazon Alexa’ and ‘Google Assistant’. With this, the customers of the bank will be able to get the outstanding, credit card and other information in their account. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is an artificial intelligence-based software. Many devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth speakers work on both these services. People give instructions to the devices working with these software to speak by singing songs, telling news, and making a list of their day-to-day tasks.

ICICI Bank said that it has linked its artificial intelligence based chatbot iPal with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. With this, now his customers will be able to speak and give instructions for banking services. The bank said in a release that this new service will give its customers another new option to avail banking services sitting at home. The company said that its service is in line with new digital initiatives like WhatsApp based ‘ICICI stack’.

Around 500 banking related services can be used on the ICICI stack. This includes account opening, debt settlement, payment solution, investment etc. from digital banking. To use the bank’s voice banking service, customers have to download Google Assistant or Alexa and have to link it to their ICICI bank account.
