That’s how we can make different variety food in a jiffy. In such a situation, today we have brought for you the famous dish of Gujarat, Khandvi. Which you can prepare in just 5 minutes. Yes, you can make this dish in just 5 minutes with the help of microwave, so let us tell you the recipe of making this great dish-

3/4 cup besan

3/4 cup yogurt

1/4 tsp ginger paste

1/4 tsp green chili paste

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

a pinch asafoetida water as needed

You can now make Gujarati Dish Khandvi in just 5 minutes, no need for frying nor running for a long time

To make Khandvi in the microwave, keep the microwave to preheat. Along with this, add curd, gram flour, ginger paste, green chili paste, turmeric powder and salt in a vessel and beat it well.

Now, put the besan batter in a microwave safe bowl and keep it in the microwave for about 5 minutes. Keep in mind that in 2-3 minutes, stir it once in between.

After 5 minutes, take out the bowl from the microwave and grease a plate with oil and spread the mixture on it. Remember we have to spread the batter evenly.

After 4-5 minutes the mixture will cool down and freeze. Now cut the frozen layer into wide strips with a knife and make a roll by folding the strips round.

Now to temper it, put oil, mustard seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves in a small microwave safe bowl and microwave it for 1-2 minutes. After this pour this tempering on the khandvi.

Instant microwave ready-made khandvi is ready. Garnish it with coconut powder and green coriander and serve it with chutney.
