Hero launches cheapest 100 cc BS6 bike, gets better mileage than before
Hero has quietly launched the kick-start variant of its Hero HF Deluxe BS6 in the Indian market. The company has priced the spoked wheel variants at Rs 46,800 and alloy wheel variants at Rs 47,800. All these prices are ex showroom Delhi. These are the most economical variants of HF Deluxe and the company does not offer electric start feature. The kick-start variant costs Rs 9,900 less than the electric start variant, which the company launched in December 2019.
In the new Hero HF Deluxe, the company has given a fuel injected engine that comes with ‘Xsens’ technology and it gives 9% better mileage and acceleration. The new engine generates power of 7.94 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The company has designed and developed this motorcycle at Hero Motocorp’s Innovation and Technology Center in Jaipur. Hero HF Deluxe has 60% market share in the 100 cc motorcycle segment. Hero has already sold more than 2 million units of HF Deleuxe in India. In the Indian market, it competes strongly with the Bajaj CT100, which is the most affordable motorcycle in this segment.

Hero MotoCorp dispatched 1,12,682 units in May 2020.
