Domestic flights will resume in the country from May 25, booking to begin from today

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri informed on Wednesday that domestic flights will start in the country from May 25. Puri tweeted that the domestic aircraft will be operational from Monday 25 May 2020. All airports and aviation companies are being asked to be ready for operation from 25 May. The Ministry is also issuing a separate SOP for the movement of passengers.

The booking of tickets for these flights will start from today at 10 pm. Although its exact date has not been given yet.

Flight operations have been completely stopped for the last 2 months due to the lockdown because of Corona virus in the country. However, the government is working to bring back the trapped Indian nationals under the Vande Bharat Mission.
