Air India said, “Passengers who were to travel between India and the UK may note that all flights to the UK have been canceled from 24 to 30 April 2021 due to recent sanctions imposed by the UK. New information on the new journey, refund will be given soon. “
Britain puts India in ‘Red List’
Britain has put India in the ‘Red List’ of those countries, under which non-British and Irish citizens from India will be banned from the UK. Also, it has been made compulsory for Britons returning from abroad to stay in segregation for 10 days in the hotel. There have been 103 cases of suffering from the so-called Indian form of Corona virus in Britain. Most of these cases are related to the travelers returning from abroad. After analyzing the data, India has been included in the Red List as a precaution.
Boris Johnson’s India tour canceled due to Corona
At the same time, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also canceled his forthcoming visit to India, in view of the severity of the second wave of the epidemic. The statement also said that the two sides will hold a virtual meeting in the coming days to release plans for the changed India-UK relationship.
