Antilia scam: NIA action continues in Mansukh murder case, Mumbai Police officer Sunil Mane arrested

The NIA arrested Mumbai Police Inspector Sunil Mane in the case of the Antilia incident and Mansukh Hiren murder. Mane is accused of trying to erase the evidence. Mane was in charge of the Kandivali unit of Mumbai Crime Branch and was transferred when the matter came to light.

NIA investigating the Antilia incident and Mansukh Hiren murder arrested Mumbai Police Inspector Sunil Mane today. It is alleged that Sunil Mane tried to erase the evidence. Along with this, he was also accused of putting pressure on Mansukh.

Let us tell you, Sunil Mane was in charge of Mumbai Crime Branch’s Kandivali unit i.e. Unit No. 11, after the matter came to light, he was transferred to the local arms department. Sources said that Inspector Sunil Mane had gone to CIU office located in the compound of Mumbai Commissioner Office on 2, 3 and 4 March. On March 3, Sunil Mane was also in that meeting at CIU, when Mansukh Deer was called there. In his response to the NIA, Sunil Mane had stated in his clarification that at that time the commissioner’s office had gone to get his personal gun license, he needed a license for two guns.

Mane had said in his clarification that on the day of March 3, he went to CIU only so that he could get his gun (gun) license renewed.

Mane had said the allegations against him were wrong

Sunil Mane, in an off-record conversation with APB News before his arrest, had denied the allegations leveled against him and said that he was cooperating in the NIA’s investigation. When Maharashtra ATS had called Sunil Mane, Sunil Mane had said that his unit’s name was taken. Because of this, the ATS had called him to know who works with him. At that time Sunil Mane gave that list to the ATS.

Sources also say that on the day the ATS ordered the ATS to immediately stop the investigation into the Mansukh murder case and transfer the investigation to the NIA, the ATS also called Sunil Mane for questioning. Since the court order to stop the investigation, the ATS returned it from the Thane ATS door.

Pressure on Mansukh to be arrested in Antilia scandal

Sources also said that Sunil Mane was pressurizing Mansukh to be arrested in the Antilia incident on March 3. However there were more people out of which two people i.e. Sachin Vajhe and Vinayak Shinde have been arrested.

Whether or not Thane went at the time of murder, investigation continues

The NIA also found out in the investigation that when Mansukh was not agreeing to be arrested, Vaze had told Sunil Mane that Mansukh should be vanished for a few days, the rest will be seen further. The NIA was under investigation for this angle for several days, the NIA is also investigating whether Sunil Mane had gone to Thane at the time of the murder.
