Delhi metro journey to change after lockdown

After the lockdown opens, when you travel in the Delhi Metro, you may have a different feeling. The outbreak of Corona is going to change the style of travel in Delhi Metro. Adherence to social distancing is being considered in the crowded coach of the metro and alternative seating is being arranged inside the coach.

Delhi Metro is working fast on the preparations after the lockdown. The entire metro complex is being cleaned cleanly. Senior DMRC officer Anuj Dayal said that DMRC is working in detail on cleanliness and maintenance keeping in mind the corona infection.

Anuj Dayal said that it is a very long work. Under this, we have to clean 264 stations, 2200 coaches, 1100 escalators and 1000 elevators and check their performance. Let us know that the metro operations in Delhi have been closed since March 22.

Alternative Seating Arrangement

According to Delhi Metro, after cleaning, the biggest responsibility is to follow the protocol of social distancing when the operation starts. A strategy is being made to follow the social distance in coaches and premises of Delhi Metro. Alternate seating is being arranged in the metro coach. In order to follow the social distance, there will be a distance of at least 1 meter between the passengers in the queue in the metro.
