Imran Khan: America and Western countries should not tell how Pakistan’s relations with China
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, while talking to China’s state TV CGTN, has said that it is very unfair for the US and Western powers to put pressure on countries like Pakistan to reduce their inclination towards China.
Imran Khan has said this to China’s official English channel CGTN on the completion of 100 years of Communist Party of China and 70 years of China-Pakistan relations.
He has also posted the video of this conversation on Instagram.
He said that Pakistan will never take its relations with China to a lower level as their relations are very deep.
Imran Khan said, “The relations between China and Pakistan started 70 years ago and it is very special. Whenever Pakistan has been in trouble, whether it is politically, internationally or during conflicts with neighbors, China has always stood with us. The people of Pakistan have a special place in the hearts of the people of China.”
“Everyone stands with you in good times but what happens to you in bad times only identifies him and the people of Pakistan know about China that he was with us in difficult times, that’s why people here In hearts you will find love for China.
Imran Khan said that at the regional level, there is a competition going on between big powers. America is very cautious in front of China and everyone knows this because it is in front of everyone.
Imran also mentioned about Quad
Along with this, Imran Khan said that America is forming a regional alliance named Quad in which America, India and other countries are also there.
“Looking at all this, it would be unreasonable for the US and Western countries to think that a country like Pakistan should take someone’s side. Why do we need to take someone’s side, we need to maintain relations with everyone.”
“If Pakistan is put under pressure to reduce or change the tilt in relations with China, it will never happen. The relationship between China and Pakistan is very deep and it is not only because of the government but people-to-people relations. are reasons.”
After this Imran Khan was asked what will he do to strengthen further relations with China?
On this he said that ‘First of all they will focus on trade because CPEC is happening in front of us and this is a big thing happening in Pakistan. The economic future lies ahead of Pakistan and the political ties are getting stronger as Pakistan always stands with China at the international level.
70 years of China-Pakistan relations
Last month, on the occasion of 70 years of relations between Pakistan and China, Imran Khan and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keizen wrote letters to each other and promised to strengthen ties between the two countries.
Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote, “On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, and on behalf of myself, I heartily congratulate you on the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan.”

According to the Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan, in the letter written by the Chinese Prime Minister to Imran Khan, it was said that China and Pakistan are neighboring friends who are connected by mountains and water.
