Now Change mobile number in Aadhaar with just one OTP

Is the old mobile number still inserted in your Aadhaar?  If it is so, now you can change your mobile number very easily. Nowadays Aadhaar is used for all work. In this case, it is important to update the correct mobile number in your Aadhaar. Let us tell you how you can update your mobile number with the help of just one OTP.

UIDAI explained the way

The Unique Identification Authority of India has released a new update. Under this, if you want to change the mobile number entered in your Aadhaar card, then it will be done easily. You can generate the form through an OTP on your phone. After this you will have to go to Aadhaar center.

You can change the mobile number by following this process –

To generate the update form, you must first go to the website of UIDAI https://ask.uidai.gov.in/.

After this, go ahead by filling your phone number and captcha on the next open page.

After this, click on the button of Send OTP and Proceed for OTP on your phone number. Submit the OTP on your phone in the box on the right.

Aadhar service will be written on the new page open in front of you. Click on Update Aadhaar option here.

After this, a page will open in front of you. Here you will see the names, Aadhar cards, addresses of all these. Here whatever you want to change is to stop the mobile number, or to link the phone number from Aadhaar, then you fill the details here and click on what do you want to update, then after that you submit the mobile number.

Now on the next page you will be asked for captcha. Complete this process by sending OTP to your phone number here, as well as verify the OTP on your mobile number. Then click on Save and Proceed.

A notification will come to you before submitting. In this, double-check all the information given by you. Submit after this. Then after that you book your appointment. You can do this by clicking on ‘Book Appointment’.

Now you have to go to the base center in the next step. Here you will be charged 25 rupees as fees. After this your number will be updated.
