Such support staff, officers who are over 60 years of age or who are ill, will be barred from coming to the grounds and participating in the training camp unless the appropriate guidelines are issued by the government. Till training there, players have to follow strict safety protocols.

The domestic session of 2019-2020 ended in March itself, but the upcoming session which starts in August will also be shortened. Players must wear an N-95 mask while going to the stadium. Glasses will also have to be installed during practice. It said, ‘On the first day of the camp, the workshop will be conducted by the Chief Medical Officer appointed by the state units to provide webinars and information.’

Players have been advised to come to the stadium from their vehicles. Only players, support staff and recognized field workers, catering and security staff will be able to come on the field. Entrance to the stadium will be through one gate only. It is not clear yet when the domestic session will start but all government guidelines will have to be followed.
