Relief from extra charge on ticket booking, Railway Minister launched this card

A transaction charge of one percent is charged while booking tickets from the Indian Railways website. But now Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has launched a special kind of credit card. There will be no transaction charge on this credit card.

In fact, the country’s largest bank SBI has offered a credit card in association with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has launched this card. During the launch, Piyush Goyal said that the card users will get many types of facilities.

– 10% value back will be given to the customer on every AC ticket purchase through credit card. Suppose Sudhir has booked a ticket of 2000 rupees. On this booking, Sudhir will get a value back of 200 rupees.

It will be credited as a point and the customer will be able to use it in the next purchase. By collecting points together, train tickets can be taken for free.

– The special thing is that by 31 March 2021, applying for this card will not have to pay joining fees.

Apart from this, one percent fuel surcharge will be waived for filling petrol or diesel at any petrol pump.

– Discounts can also be availed on many grocery or e-commerce websites including Big Basket.

– There is also a security arrangement in the card. However, the target is to reach at least 3 crore customers by 25 December 2020 in front of SBI card.
