Pakistani opener Imran Farhat has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. Farhat played his last home match for Balochistan against Sindh in the Kaede-Azam Trophy of 2020/21. Left hand Te Fahat made his debut for the Pakistan cricket team in the year 2001.

Left hand Te Fahat made his debut for the Pakistan cricket team in the year 2001. In his career, the former opener played 40 Tests, 58 ODIs and 7 T20 Internationals. His name included 3 centuries and 14 half-centuries in Tests, while he managed to score 1 century and 13 half-centuries in ODIs. The last match he played for Pakistan was in 2103. Pakistan Cricket tweeted and shared information about Imran Fahat’s retirement with fans. Pakistan Cricket Mohammad Hafeez has also tweeted and congratulated Imran on his retirement.

The most memorable moment of Imran Farhat’s Test career was scoring a century in the Napier Test against New Zealand. Imran scored an unbeaten 117 in the Napier Test in 2009, which proved to be the best innings of his Test career. However, the 128-run innings played against South Africa at Faisalabad was his highest Test career.

Please tell that Imran Farhat captained Balochistan in his last home match and also gave the team a win by 9 wickets. He scored 42 and 31 runs in both innings in this match. T20 International career did not go well for Farhat. He scored just 76 runs in 7 matches. During this time, he could not cross the figure of 20 runs in any match.
