According to the information, Facebook-owned popular instant messaging platform WhatsApp may soon receive instant messaging responses like the company’s other social media platforms- Messenger and Instagram DM.
News agency ANI has said that Mashable India has said that WhatsApp is working on bringing responses on its platform, citing a report by WABetaInfo that informs about WhatsApp-related news and real-time updates.
This feature is currently not available. However, once it is officially launched, users will be able to react to messages with emoticons. This will help users to send an instant expression to a message without having to send an actual follow-up message. As with most WhatsApp features, users will not get this feature on the older version of WhatsApp. According to Mashable India, users will have to upgrade to the latest version.
