West Bengal: Corona records 8,419 new cases, 28 deaths in one day

Amidst the assembly elections in West Bengal, fresh cases of corona virus have started to scare once again. Three phases of elections are yet to be held in the state. Meanwhile, a record 8,419 new positive cases of Corona were reported here today. With this, 28 more people died due to infection.
In West Bengal, 8,419 new cases of corona virus infection occurred in the last 24 hours, which is the highest number of cases reported in a day. With this, the total number of people infected with this deadly infection in the state so far has increased to 6,59,927.
The health department said in a bulletin that 28 more people died due to the epidemic during this period and 10,568 people have lost their lives in the state so far.
According to the bulletin, the highest number of 2,197 new cases of infection were reported in Kolkata today. After this, 1,860 new cases of epidemic were reported in North 24 Parganas district. During this period, five people have died in Kolkata and six in North 24 Parganas due to the epidemic. There are currently 49,638 under-trial cases in the state.
Elections are left for three phases in the state
Significantly, three phases of elections are yet to be held in West Bengal. However, in the meantime, the daily horrifying figures of Corona are coming out. Earlier on Friday, a record 6 thousand 910 new positive cases were reported here, while 26 people died due to this epidemic ..
