New trouble was seen on Monday in Pakistan, which is facing economic crisis. Several major cities of Pakistan were seen facing power outages for hours due to fault in transmission lines. First the flour ran out in the country, then there was a crisis of gas and petrol and now it is the turn of electricity.

K-Electric spokesperson Imran Rana said in a Twitter post, “Reports of power failure are pouring in from various parts of the city. We are probing the matter and will inform soon.”

Let us inform that Pakistan is already facing power shortage and long cuts. To save electricity, the government has issued an order to close the markets at 8 o’clock.

Pakistan this month announced a new energy conservation plan as its fragile economy grapples with a host of challenges, including the country’s foreign exchange reserves falling to dangerously low levels.

Earlier in October last year, Pakistan experienced a major power crisis. During that time large parts of the country including Karachi and Lahore were without power for more than 12 hours.
