New Delhi, 9th March 2022
“Every woman is first a man carrying womb wherefrom the human race is created and thus we originate. It goes without saying that a woman is more than a man in more than one sense as the word woman itself is a combination of a womb and a man.”, said noted author Dr Birbal Jha while addressing a gathering on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Delhi.

Casting light on the import of educating the fair sex of society, the crusader Dr Birbal added “Skilling a man in a language is skilling an individual. However, skilling a girl is skilling even a generation to come. So to support it, we all must realize and acknowledge that a woman carries a lot of clout without taking her with a grain of salt.”

To mark the event, in addition to a discourse on ‘women’s emancipation, participation and communication’ being held, a group of British Lingua students with placards in their hands took out a procession giving messages for awareness in the vicinity of east Delhi on the day.

Remarkably, 8th March is annually observed globally to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Also, it is an action for accelerating gender parity. Purple is the colour that symbolizes women internationally. The combination of the purple, green and white colours is to symbolize the equality of women which is originated from the Women’s Social and Political Union in the UK in 1908.

British Lingua, an institute of international repute for communication skills in Delhi holds a lot of academic and cultural activities to ensure that attendees are properly groomed for their career orientation and personality development.
