Rhea Chakraborty on Aryan Drug Case Controversy
Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, who has been under investigation after the death of actor and boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput last year, has shared a cryptic message amid the ongoing drug case involving superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan.
The actress wrote on her Instagram: “Whatever you do, go through it.”
Last year, Rhea made headlines after Sushant’s family alleged abetment to suicide and misappropriation of funds from the late actor. He was also named in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) chargesheet along with his brother Sauvik in the drug-related investigation into Sushant’s death.
The 29-year-old actress was arrested last year and spent a month in Mumbai’s Byculla jail in September 2020.
In a claim, the NCB on Wednesday alleged that Aryan, along with others, was involved in “smuggling of illegal narcotics, purchase and distribution of prohibited materials” prohibited under the NDPS Act.
The agency also accused Aryan of being in contact with certain persons abroad who may be part of an international illegal drug syndicate and further to trace his links to contact the foreign agency through proper channels. The investigation continues.
The NCB’s statement came during the hearing of bail applications of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Mohak Jaswal, Nupur Satija, Achit Kumar, Shreyas Nair and Avin Sahu before Special NDPS Judge VV Patil.
