Old age starts from the feet and progresses upwards. Keep your legs active and strong!!

As we age and get older every day, we should always keep our legs active and strong.

We are constantly getting old, getting older, but we should not be afraid of graying of hair, loss of skin (or) wrinkles.

Among the signs of longevity, as listed at the top in the American magazine Prevention, is strong leg muscles as one of the most important and essential.

If you don’t move your legs for two weeks, your legs will lose 10 years of strength. That is, you will be ten years old.

One study found that both the elderly and the young, during two weeks of inactivity, could lose leg muscle strength by one-third that of those aged 20 to 30.

As our leg muscles weaken, it takes a long time to recover, even if we rehabilitate and exercise afterward.

Therefore, regular exercise like walking is a must.

The weight of the whole body rests on the feet and the body is at rest. Feet are a kind of pillar, which carries the entire weight of the human body.

The interesting thing is that 50% of a person’s bones and 50% of the muscles are in both the legs. The largest and strongest joints and bones of the human body are also in the feet.

Strong bones, strong muscles and flexible joints form the “Iron Triangle” which carries the most important load i.e. the human body.

70% of human activities and calorie burning are done by these two legs.

The foot is the center of movement of the body.

Together, 50% of the veins of the human body, 50% of the blood vessels and 50% of the blood flows through them in both the legs.

It is the largest communication network that connects the body.

Only when the legs are healthy, the conventional stream of blood flows smoothly, so people who have strong leg muscles definitely have a strong heart.

Aging moves from the feet upwards.

As a person gets older, the accuracy and speed of transmission of instructions between the brain and the legs decreases, in contrast when a person is young it is very fast and accurate.

In addition, bone fertilizer (calcium) will be lost over time, making the elderly more prone to bone fractures.

Bone fractures in the elderly can easily trigger a range of complications,

Did you know that usually 15% of elderly patients die within a year of a fracture in the thigh bone?

 * It should never be too late to exercise the legs, even after the age of 60, if you do regular exercise, the results are shocking.

Although our feet will gradually get old over time, but we should make exercising the feet a lifelong task.

Only by strengthening the legs, aging can be stopped or reduced.

️Please walk for at least 30-40 minutes daily to ensure that your legs get enough exercise and to ensure that your leg muscles stay healthy.

Stay cool, stay healthy, stay happy and walk 5 km regularly.
