7th Pay Commission: According to AICPI, the index for June 2021 has increased by 1.1 points. The index has reached 121.7 in June. In such a situation, there will be an increase of 3% in dearness allowance for June 2021.

7th Pay Commission: Central employees can get another good news in the festive season. Dearness allowance has increased from 17% to 28% and HRA has also been increased from 24% to 27%. But there is  good news ahead.

Dearness allowance will increase once again

Central employees may soon get another gift. Dearness allowance is to be announced for July 2021. There can be a further increase of 3 percent in this. The data of AICPI in June 2021 made it clear that DA will be 31.18 percent, but, the calculation of DA is done in round figure. In this case, DA 31 percent will be payable. That is, if there is an increase of 3 percent, then the employees will get dearness allowance at 31 percent. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this and it has not been told from when it will be implemented.

Is 3% DA set to increase?

The employees’ union believes that the government should soon announce the increase of 3% dearness allowance (3% DA hike). According to the data of the AICPI index, the index for June 2021 has increased by 1.1 points. The index has reached 121.7 in June. In such a situation, the dearness allowance for June 2021 is set to increase by 3 percent.

Decision may be taken in September

Due to the demand of the employees’ union, there is a discussion that the Dearness Allowance news for July 2021 can be announced this month. However, no deadline has been fixed for this. But, the government can announce it in September and pay it in the salary of October. Employees union believes that if dearness allowance is announced in September, then the government should also pay arrears from July till now. Because, no talk has been made on the arrears of one and a half year already.
