Corona vaccine has been started in entire India from 16 January Saturday.

Covid vaccination has been started in many medical colleges and district government hospitals in Assam.

According to Shurah Niazi, the BBC’s associate journalist from Madhya Pradesh, the corona vaccine was first introduced to health employee Sanjay Yadav in the capital Bhopal.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was also present on the occasion.

The vaccination was started at Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal, where special preparations were made for it separately.

Situ Tiwari, associate journalist of BBC from Bihar, told that vaccination started in the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the Anotomy Department in the capital Patna. The vaccination started with the vaccine being given to the cleaner Rambabu.

Majid Jahangir, an associate journalist of the BBC present in Srinagar, told that security personnel at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Pervez Ahmed Sheikh, were the first to be vaccinated.

The total number of cases of corona virus infection in India has exceeded one crore and it is third in the list of countries most affected by the epidemic, after America and Brazil.

This vaccination against Kovid-19 in India is the world’s largest vaccination program.

Will everyone get the vaccine together?

This will depend on the availability of the vaccine. Priority will be given to health workers, people working on the frontline, elderly and people suffering from other diseases for the vaccine.

What precautions should be taken after taking the vaccine?

The ministry has said in its suggestion that people should rest at least half an hour at the health center after being vaccinated.

The ministry said, “If you feel any problem after getting vaccinated, then you should contact the nearest health authorities, doctors, ANM or ASHA workers.”
