Major train accident in US
At least three people were killed and several others injured when an Amtrak train derailed in central Montana on Saturday.
The derailed train between Havre and Shelby stops in Montana. According to reports, there were 147 passengers on the train at that time.
The people trapped in the train have been rescued after the accident. However, the exact figure of the number of injured is not yet known. The rescue work is still going on at the incident site.
Passengers’ reports and photos show cars colliding with tracks. The incident took place in Helena, about 48 km from the border with Canada.
