Vladimir Putin may strike several agreements with India in October

The Indian Foreign Ministry has informed that Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit India in October and during his proposed visit there are likely to be many high level agreements between India and Russia.

On this proposed visit of President Putin, Dainik Jagran newspaper has published a report quoting Anurag Shrivastava, spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, that recently there was a conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Putin in which Modi putin Congratulations to the public support received on the constitutional amendments in Russia. Also, the two leaders also discussed some regional and international issues.

The newspaper wrote that ‘there is a long list of high level talks between the two countries in the coming months. This includes the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS Foreign Ministers Meeting, National Security Advisors Meeting and Defense Ministers Meeting. The annual bilateral summit is also scheduled to be held in October in which Putin is expected to visit India.

In the last week of June, India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh went to Moscow and the Indian military squad also took part in the parade organized on the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War.
