The second way is that such a person will have to apply on plain paper through a simple application to the Municipal Corporation, Municipality or the office of the Panchayat. The local body will have to dispose of the LOR issue within a period of 15 days. According to the statement, sellers who have LORs will be issued a certificate of vending / identity card within a period of 30 days.

Maximum beneficiaries will get the benefit of the scheme from this provision. It said that since the inception of online submission of loan applications on the PM Swanidhi portal on 2 July 2020, more than 4.45 lakh applications have been received in various states and union territories and more than 82,000 have been accepted. Under this scheme, a target has been set to benefit more than 50 lakh street vendors who used to sell goods in urban areas or nearby semi-urban / rural areas before March 24, 2020.
