Abdullah Abdullah, the head of the Afghanistan Aman Council, will soon visit Pakistan to speed up the process of restoring peace in Afghanistan.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has given them a party to visit Pakistan, but the relationship between the two countries has melted the ice in Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

General Bajwa, along with Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed, head of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, visited Kabul this week and met President Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah.

Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s special envoy to Afghanistan, has confirmed this and said that the date of Abdullah Abdullah’s visit to Pakistan will be announced soon. After several months, it will be a visit to Pakistan by an important officer of Afghanistan.

Abdullah Abdullah’s visit to Pakistan will also have an impact on the talks between different groups of Afghanistan.

After the agreement reached between the US and the Taliban on 29 February, the next step in the Afghanistan peace process is the agreement between the various Afghan groups. Negotiations between representatives of various factions will soon begin in Qatar or Germany. Only then will the political future of Afghanistan be decided.

President Ashraf Ghani has given a feast to the Taliban to participate in the electoral process.

He said this while addressing an international virtual conference related to Afghanistan peace process. It also included representatives from the United Nations, European Union and NATO.

Forged licenses of pilots in Pakistan

The issue of fake licenses of pilots in Pakistan is in the news these days. According to the Newspaper Express, this week, 28 pilots of Pakistan International Airlines were fired after being found to have forged licenses.

On the other hand, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency has informed all the 32 member countries of Europe and in view of the safety of aircraft and passengers, PIA flights have been banned for six months across Europe.

Earlier, USA and UK had banned PIA flights.

This whole matter came to the headlines last month when in a report presented in Pakistan’s Parliament, the country’s aviation minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan had informed that 40 percent of Pakistan’s pilots have fake licenses, including a large number of Pakistan International Airlines pilots. Are also included.

The aviation minister had said in the House that an investigation last year showed that out of Pakistan’s 860 active pilots, 262 pilots either had fake licenses or cheated in their exams.

After this statement, many countries have banned PIA flights, Pakistani pilots working in other airlines of the world are also under suspicion.

Pakistani pilots working in many airlines either fired or started investigating them. The latest case is of Ethiopian Airlines.

Five Pakistan pilots work in Ethiopian Airlines. The airlines have started checking the licenses of these five pilots.

But Pakistan’s opposition parties have blamed the Civil Aviation Minister for this.

Leader of Opposition, Shahbaz Sharif has said that in order to justify his life, the Civil Aviation Minister has given a stupid statement, giving proof of his senselessness which has resulted in various countries banning PIA flights.
