The political forum South Asia for Biden said that Biden has given priority to reaching out to the Hindu community. Over the weekend, Biden’s campaign launched a platform for Indian-Americans, highlighting several key concerns of the Hindu community. Biden proposes to toughen penalties for hate-motivated crimes committed in places of worship, including temples. He has also promised to increase security grants for such shrines. He has also talked about making hate-motivated crime a priority for his Justice Department.
