New Delhi, 2/6/2022: “Thank you so much, Sir! This is Reena. Can you recall me, your trainee?   It was indeed a pleasant journey! It was all without a hitch! No language problem did I ever face when reaching California today though I was a bit afraid whether I would be able to reply to the concerned persons at the airports, either in India or overseas .”, went on saying, Reena Singh.

“I’m really glad to hear your kind words and an expression of gratitude towards me.  That was, in fact, my job of imparting training in English communication skills for the purpose you had enrolled at British Lingua, said modest and self-effacing  Dr Birbal Jha in response.”

The story of 54-year-old Reena Singh, now a resident of Delhi originating from Darbhanga of Bihar goes like this. She is a mother of two, and both of her adult children- one son and another daughter, post their education are well- settled abroad. Ms Reena remains more concerned about her unwedded daughter living in California, the US.  She wanted to see her daughter in person at her current location. The problem was that she was not confident of her English Skills.

She decided to go for up-skilling in the language so that she could have a hassle-free flight journey where language is no barrier at all. She started surfing the internet to find a good English language training institute in East Delhi as she has her abode at Patparganj. She visited a dozen of mushrooming institutes located in the vicinity only to be disappointed. However, she managed to come to British Lingua and enrol there after she had an interaction with Dr Birbal Jha, a noted author and socio-academic entrepreneur.

“I was elated and enlightened once I met Dr Jha for lessons in English-skilling.”, added jubilant Ms  Reena Singh, who in the beginning was very upset about  how she would pick up English at a bit late age.

“You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to learn a language for that matter whether it is English. Learning a language is a natural phenomenon if you are exposed to that environment”, often repeats Dr Birbal Jha in his enaging classes, who in 1993 founded his social enterprise British Lingua, a training institute of international repute.

Thanks to Dr Jha’s sincere efforts, millions of Indians have been able to improve their lifestyles, gain decent jobs, begin their own business and get a fair share of what they deserve in their life.

Reena Singh is just a case of study in point how a new age mom fulfils her linguistic desire and adds a sense of confidence to herself and others.
