OnePlus Buds is expected to be launched in India soon. The company shared a picture of its old earphones through the official Twitter handle and asked what was next in the line. It is likely to be the most awaited wireless earbuds from the company, which can be called OnePlus Pods instead of OnePlus Buds. It can be launched with OnePlus Nord on 21 July.
The new Bluetooth audio device will “deliver high quality audio playback and an easy to use experience”. The launch of OnePlus Buds is part of the manufacturer’s plan to expand its portfolio of products that already include phones and smart TVs.
OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau said earbuds would provide the perfect combination of high quality sound, seamless connectivity and easy-to-use experience. OnePlus Buds have appeared in several leaks in the last few months. The final leak has revealed that the earbuds will come in black and will have a closed fit design. Also, like the OnePlus Nord, the Buds will be sold on Amazon India.
OnePlus is a bit late in the market with its TWS earbuds. Its competitors such as Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi have already launched several models with different features and price tags. It remains to be seen whether OnePlus can prove to be any different than Buds in Brands.
