Gurujee’s Diving Journey
Guruji is the “Divine Light” who came to earth to bless and enlighten humanity. In Dugri village of Malerkotla district of Punjab, the sunrise of 7 July 1954 was announced with the announcement of Guruji’s birth. Guruji spent his early life around Doogri, went to school and college there and obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from there. People say that he had a spark of spirituality since childhood.
It did not take long for that spark to become a full flame; The Ganga of Guruji’s blessings started flowing to reduce the sorrow and pain of hundreds of thousands of people. Guruji went to various places including Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Panchkula and New Delhi and started satsangs from here. People from far and wide used to come here from India and other parts of the world to seek his blessings. In Guruji’s satsang, tea and langar prasad were served which had Guruji’s special divine blessings and divine power. Devotees experienced Guruji’s grace in various forms, their incurable diseases were cured and all their problems – financial, mental, physical, legal etc were solved. Some devotees even had divine darshan of the deities. It is said that nothing was impossible for Guruji, because he had written the destiny and he could change it.
Brief Introduction
Guruji’s doors were open to all people equally – whether they belonged to high class or low class, poor or rich, or to any religion. The most ordinary man, and the greatest man used to come to him to seek his blessings. Politicians, bureaucrats, armed service personnel, doctors, and many businessmen used to line up. Everyone needed him and Guruji blessed everyone equally without any discrimination. Devotees sitting in any corner of the world were benefited as much as those who sat near them and touched their feet. The most important thing was the complete self-surrender of the devotee and unwavering faith in Guruji. Guruji was a giver, he never took anything from anyone nor did he expect anything. “Kalyan Karta” Guruji used to say that my blessings will always be with you. And forever does not mean that only in this birth but he said that his blessings will remain with the devotee till the devotee’s Nirvana.
Guruji never gave any sermon. Never prescribed any ceremony. Yet how his message reached the devotee, only the devotee can tell. This special “sambandh” not only brought joy and energization to the devotee, but also brought about a profound transformation in the devotee. The devotee used to reach such a level where bliss, fulfillment and peace were easily found together. There was a divine fragrance all around Guruji, as if roses were in bloom. Even today his fragrance makes his devotees feel the presence of Guruji.
Mahasadhi
Guruji took Mahasamadhi on 31st May 2007. He never declared a successor. Because “divinity” has no successor. He used to say that devotees always connect with him “directly”, coming closer to me through prayer and meditation. There is a temple of Guruji, known as “Bade Mandir” located at the Bhatti Mines in South Delhi. Today, when Guruji is no more in his mortal body, his blessings are still showering equally on his devotees.
