Flowers are offered at Gandhiji’s tomb

On Martyrs’ Day,  various government dignitaries including the President, Vice President and Prime Minister visit Gandhiji’s Samadhi at Rajghat and lay wreaths in remembrance of him. Apart from this, the general public also remembers Gandhiji in his own way on Martyr’s Day. Armed forces personnel of the country and inter-services give a respectful salute to the accidental martyrs. People keep silence for 2 minutes in the memory of Bapu and other martyrs of the country.
