75 percent construction done: It may be known that a total of 8.15 km long bridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1,137 crore, which includes approach roads on both sides of Auta and Simaria of this 1.865 km long bridge. Project engineer Vijay Kumar said that with the completion of segment launching work on five pillars in Hathidah and two pillars on both sides of river Ganga in Simaria, about 75 percent of the bridge construction work has been completed.

The specialty of this state-of-the-art modern road bridge: The entire weight of Asia’s widest bridge will be on the cables. Due to the width of this bridge being 34 meters, built with new technology, there will be convenience in traffic. There will be a 13-13 meter wide three-lane road on both sides of the bridge. While there will be one and a half meter wide footpath on both sides of the bridge. On which foot, cycle or bike rider will be able to travel. Apart from this, there will be arrangement of lights on the six lane bridge.
