PM inaugurates Kochi-Mangaluru gas pipeline, help to set up 700 CNG station

The Prime Minister said that India needs unprecedented work on highways, railways, metro, aviation, water, digital and gas connectivity to promote economic development. This pipeline has been constructed at a cost of three thousand crore rupees.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) inaugurated the 450-km Kochi-Mangaluru Natural Gas Pipeline on Tuesday. This pipeline has been constructed at a cost of three thousand crore rupees. While dedicating this pipeline to the nation in a virtual manner, the Prime Minister said that its role will be important in promoting clean energy in the country. He said that the Kochi-Mangaluru natural gas pipeline will herald the urban gas project in many cities. This will also help in setting up 700 CNG stations.

Prime Minister Modi said that India needs unprecedented work on highways, railways, metro, aviation, water, digital and gas connectivity to promote economic development. He said that the network of natural gas pipeline will be doubled in the next 5-6 years. Apart from this, the number of CNG stations will increase from the current 1,500 to 10 thousand.
