Gate 2023 Exam: Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) is going to conduct GATE 2023 exam from February 4. The GATE exam will be held on February 4, 5, 12 and 13. IIT Kanpur has issued the necessary guidelines for this examination. The exam day guidelines are available on the official website of IIT Kanpur gate.iitk.ac.in, which candidates can check. Along with the exam guidelines, the GATE admit card was also released by the exam authority, which candidates can download from the IIT Kanpur site.
It is very important for the candidates going to take the GATE exam to know what they can carry to the examination center, what they can not do, what they can not do.
GATE Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the GATE exam will have to follow all COVID-19 rules at the exam centre. Applicants will have to report to the GATE 2023 exam center at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the examination. After biometric verification, candidates will have to take off their masks.
After the examination is over, candidates will have to submit the scribble pad to the inspector. Virtual scientific calculator will be available on the computer screen of all candidates for numerical calculation.
What to do and what not to do at the exam center
– Carry valid photo ID proof along with GATE Admit Card 2023 at the examination center.
– Wear a face mask.
For GATE exam, candidates should carry their pen, pencil, transparent water bottle and pocket sanitizer.
Do not carry any prohibited items including charts, tables, papers, books, sheets, or any electronic device in the GATE 2023 examination hall.
– Do not leave gate exam center 2023 without the permission of the inspector.
