Dr Birbal Jha wins the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Award for 2024

Dehradun / 15 February: The Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Award for 2024 was conferred on Dr Birbal Jha in recognition of his social entrepreneurship, self-help writing skills, communication skills training, social service, and cultural movement in the country. For the coveted award, Dr Jha was presented with the golden Ashoka emblem along with the citation at a function marking the occasion of Vansant Panchmi on February 14 in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.  This honour was given to Dr Jha for his intellectual, pedagogical, and social services by the Eastern Cultural Organisation.

 

Dr Birbal Jha is Bihar’s leading social entrepreneur and one of the world’s top 20 self-help authors. He has made an unparalleled contribution to English skills training in the country. In addition to that, he has set a national record for successfully leading the Indian cultural movement, particularly the Mithila Paag campaign.

 

Dr Birbal Jha works tirelessly to improve the lives of India’s underprivileged section of society. He has trained over three lacs and fifty thousand youth from India’s poorest communities. Dr Jha has a track record of improving the lifestyle of millions of people from all walks of life including the underprivileged section of society through his training programme.
